In every day, there are 1,440 minutes. That means we have 1,440 daily opportunities to make a positive impact. Les Brown
Hotline: Volunteer from home. Use basic computer skills to screen potential adopters. You set your own hours during your assigned day. You will be fully trained and mentored. You will monitor the Hotline email account, and phone potential adopters to determine their preferences in size, sex, and temperament in a new dog member of their family. We have more adopters than dogs, so we can find the perfect fit for each dog.
Walkers: Come to our boarding Kennel in Concord and walk dogs. We like to have the dogs walked each day, for leash training and exercise. You can pick the best day of the week for you, and choose the time of day. There is a park close to the Kennel that is a great walking spot.
Transportation: Sometimes we need people to drive our dogs to appointments or from one Foster home or the Kennel to another location.
TO BE CONSIDERED AS A FOSTER HOME AN ADULT MUST BE HOME DURING THE DAY, AT LEAST HALF OF THE DAY. ONLY PEOPLE WHO WORK PART-TIME, ARE RETIRED OR WORK FROM HOME WILL BE CONSIDERED.
Foster: We currently need foster homes for dogs with medical or behavioral issues or concerns. You would need to take the dog to medical appointments and possibly give medication. If the dog has behavioral issues the foster will work on their training needs, with advice and assistance.
