Meet our Mascot Gus

Hi, I am Gus. You have seen pictures of me for years- but you may have wondered who is Gus?

My full name was Gus, Ch. Blue Skies Henceforth.

I owned a wonderful person name Dr. Sue Paddon and lived with her at Dr. Sue Paden's Henceforth Standard Poodles Kennel.I was bred by Patty Moulthrop, the founder of NCPR. Sue was one of the first volunteers to assist Patty in forming NCPR, and despite her passing in 2007, the memory of Sue's enthusiasm and dedication is still treasured.

Here I am doing my famous "Downward Dog" yoga pose. I was drawn by Diane Whitehouse, and I have been the Logo for NCPR all of this time.

I am kind of a big deal around here.
